Terms of service

These terms apply to all orders placed at Paw Regalia. Paw Regalia is operated by Codext GmbH, Frankenstraße 10, 74549 Wolpertshausen, Germany ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. What we make

We create custom pet portraits from the photo you upload, check every portrait against your photo, and have them printed and shipped by our print partner in the USA. Each portrait is an artistic interpretation. Small differences in colour between your screen and the print are normal.

2. Your photo

• You confirm that you took the photo yourself or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
• You give us a limited license to use the photo only to make, check and deliver your order.
• Do not upload photos of people, professional photos with watermarks, or images you are not allowed to use. We may cancel and refund an order if a photo is unsuitable.

3. Proof and approval

We email a proof within 24 hours of your order. You may approve it or ask for one free change. Production starts only after you approve. If you do not respond within 30 days, we may send the version we consider best to print, after a reminder.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include free shipping to US addresses. Payment is processed in our secure Shopify checkout when you order.

5. Remakes and refunds

Custom items are made to order. You get a free remake if we got your pet wrong or the print does not match the approved proof, and a free replacement for damaged items. We do not refund correct custom prints because of a change of mind after approval. Details: Remakes and refunds.

6. Use of the portrait

You may use your portrait and the digital file for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing it on social media. We may not show your portrait or your photo publicly without your separate permission.

7. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
